It’s simple to create your book. Simply describe your story, share visual details or upload a photo, and Bookestry’s AI brings your story to life. You can then review your story and order a hardcover or printable PDF copy.
What kinds of stories can I create?
You can create any kind of heartwarming children’s story - birthday adventures, bedtime tales, family memories, or stories celebrating grandparents, pets, or special moments. Every book is personalized to your ideas and characters.
Can I include real people in my story?
Yes! You can include family members, friends, or anyone special. Just provide a description or photo of each character, and we’ll create illustrations that capture their likeness in a kid-friendly style.
How long does it take to create a storybook?
Your job of providing the descriptions usually takes 5-10 minutes. Your story and character design will be ready immediately for you to review. It takes us about 30 minutes to illustrate the rest of the book once you approve. Hardcover printing and delivery typically take 1-2 weeks, depending on your location.
Can I edit my story and illustrations after they are created?
Yes, you’ll have the opportunity to review your story and illustrations and make any changes before finalizing your order. AI illustrations can sometimes have errors. You can edit the illustrations to fix any errors or add special easter eggs for your kids.
How much does it cost?
Our hardcover books cost $39.95 and our printable minibooks cost $7.95. You will always be able to preview all pages before printing. Adding gift messages or additional personalization like a dedication line are always free.
